About Us

Nature 2030 is a campaign bringing together the power of nature and the strength of policy with the aim of building a formidable coalition for global change.

Chaired by lifelong environmentalist and wildlife campaigner, Dominic Dyer, the organisation brings together some of the UK’s most visionary thinkers to tackle the profound challenges posed by climate change.

In June 2019, Nature 2030 launched in Westminster at an event chaired by The Times Environment Editor Ben Webster, with UN Patron of the Wilderness Ben Fogle as then chair. Later in 2019, Nature 2030 achieved its first major victory by successfully campaigning for a new Clean Air Bill to be included in the Queen’s Speech.

In 2020, Nature 2030 turned its attention to advocating for an 'all-in' deposit return scheme model with a variable deposit, which  gained support in a Parliamentary debate, with Philip Hollobone MP using Nature 2030 research to support the argument in June 2022.

In 2023 Nature 2030 launched of the inaugural Nature 2030 Political Purpose Awards, the first environmental awards for politicians which returned for 2024.

In 2024, Nature 2030 joined with the Captain Paul Watson Foundation  with support from the Green Britain Foundation to raise awareness of the brutal slaughter of dolphins in the Faroe Islands and work with the UK Government to see these inhumane hunts ended.

Nature 2030 is run and funded by purpose-led communications consultancy Higginson Strategy.
